The Clarence Valley has a well‑established health care infrastructure and a strong network of community services.

The Clarence River, connecting Grafton to Maclean and the seaside towns of Iluka and Yamba, forms the lifeblood of this picturesque region. Grafton is a commercial and professional hub in Northern NSW, situated just three hours south of the Gold Coast, two hours south of Byron Bay and one hour north of Coffs Harbour. The region offers a relaxed tree‑change, a family destination or an adventure, with surf, bushwalking, rowing and plenty of foodies and gardeners.

Visit Northern NSW Local Health District for more information on living and working in this area.
