Environment and Planning Role in Melbourne
We are seeking an exceptional legal professional to join our national Environment and Planning team in Melbourne.
This exciting opportunity will see you work directly with leading Environmental and Planning partners on large-scale energy, renewables, and infrastructure projects across Australia.
You will have the chance to advise top developers and contractors on a wide range of environmental and planning issues, including:
* Optimizing approval pathways for new projects;
* Environmental assessments;
* Planning appeals and hearings;
* Biodiversity offsets;
* Environmental licensing;
* Secondary approvals;
* Neighbour agreements; and
* Environmental incident response.
This role also offers collaboration with our Property and Corporate teams on high-profile work, making it a fantastic opportunity for career growth and development.
To be successful in this position, you should be a qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in environment and planning law. You must possess strong skills and attributes, including:
* A strong interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors;
* Commercial awareness;
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing team.
