Leadership Position Overview
This role oversees all catering operations across the facility, developing menus that meet individual needs and ensuring food safety compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day catering operations to deliver quality services
* Collaborate with residents and dietitians to plan nutritious meals
* Supervise and train staff members to enhance performance
* Oversee the implementation and review of the Food Safety Program
* Maintain inventory control and budget management
* Promote meal options tailored to individual dietary requirements
* Address feedback and prioritize resident satisfaction
Qualifications:
* Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certification
* Proven experience in hospitality settings
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Background in residential aged care or healthcare environments
* Empathy for working with older adults
