Lead Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction project manager to lead the delivery of high-value, construction-specific projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate contractors, manage budgets and schedules, uphold health and safety standards, and ensure delivery excellence from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, including cost control, invoicing, forecasting, and subcontractor claims. They will also have excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, as well as experience in contract administration and project lifecycle management.
In this role, you will be employed by our company but work closely with a top-tier client onsite, managing the delivery of construction projects in a live data centre environment.
About the Role
* You will be responsible for managing construction delivery from scoping through to handover and defects liability.
* You will oversee cost control, invoicing, forecasting, and subcontractor claims.
* You will prepare and manage contracts and coordinate procurement and trades.
* You will develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path tracking.
* You will uphold rigorous health and safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
* You will lead site inspections, client meetings, and project reporting.
* You will manage risk, change, and escalation processes professionally.
* You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:
* 10+ years of experience in construction project delivery (data centre or mission-critical environments preferred).
* Qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related trade.
* Strong background in contract administration, project lifecycle management, and health and safety compliance.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and digital reporting tools.
* Health and Safety White Card (required); post-trade or postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
