Ventia is seeking a highly organised and experienced Guest Services Supervisor to lead our accommodation team.

About The Role : Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To) :
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Manage the budget for the accommodation department, including monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Oversee the inventory of supplies and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
- Prepare and present reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators to senior management.
- Oversee room availability and usage of external accommodation during peak period.
- Oversee and supervise team during high volume accommodation check-ins
- Ensure shared accommodation email inbox is being processed in a reasonable time
- Ensure team are following processes for check-ins and departures
- Liaise with housekeeping to ensure clean rooms and for service cleans
- Monitor maintenance request, liaise with maintenance team if work order/s may impact the use of the room
- Liaise with security on disturbance complaints providing direction where required
- Manage departmental budgets and maintain inventory levels
About You :
- 3+ years’ experience in a managerial role within accommodation or hospitality
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (advantageous)
- Certification in hotel management or a related discipline (advantageous)
- You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement.
- In-depth understanding of housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance operations
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and compliance with health and safety standards
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
