A large nationally recognised brand with an international presence is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join their Corporate Team in a hybrid work environment.
This is a role for an Audit Manager who is career driven and looking to succeed. Interact with various key decision makers within the business at the operational and strategic level.
The Role
Reporting to the Internal Audit Senior Management Team you will lead a team of Internal Auditors to support the delivery of internal audit objectives by providing independent assurance and advisory services to add value and improve the business’s operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinate, drive and deliver reviews in a timely manner
* Plan and report testing in areas of key audit focus to support operational improvement of Internal Audits
* Evaluate goverance, risk and control frameworks across the organisation
* Apply problem solving techniques to complex situations
* Build collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders
* Train and support others to achieve a level of business engagement which encourages IA as a trusted advisor
* Support and motivate talent to drive a high achieving team
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
* Proven experience in Internal Audit in a management role in a large commercial environment or Big 4 experience
* Professional qualification – Business Degree, CPA/CA
* Strong communication skills to negotiate and influence and build strong working relationships
* Be driven and outcome orientated
