As a reliable and practical Water Operator, this role involves hands-on work, operating machinery and being part of an environmentally focused team.
* Operating the water truck to distribute water as needed across the site
* Performing daily checks and routine maintenance on plant and machinery
* Operating front-end loaders, turning machines and screening equipment
* Loading product into trucks for dispatch
* Traveling to off-site locations when required
* Collecting weekly site samples as needed (e.g. moisture, temperature, porosity)
* Maintaining general site upkeep including cleaning and maintaining tree lines and grassed areas
* A current HR license
* Loader and forklift/telehandler tickets
* A valid Australian driver's license
* Previous machinery experience is beneficial
* Mechanical know-how and troubleshooting skills would be advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when necessary
* Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
