Maintenance Technician Job Summary
As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing routine and preventative maintenance around the hotel. This role requires handling tasks such as painting, minor repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and pool maintenance to ensure total guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry or building services. You should also be available to work Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 7:00pm.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular preventative inspections of equipment and facilities.
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and maintenance issues that impact the guest experience.
* Report workplace hazards and adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
* Handle guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving for guest satisfaction and notifying management of serious complaints and the actions taken to resolve them.
* Attend all mandatory training sessions and stay updated on hotel operations and initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements & Qualifications
* You will need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths (literate).
* This role requires usage of email, computers, handheld devices, key cutting systems, and service request apps (technical savvy).
What We Offer
* Above award - Base Rate $80 per hour.
