Job Title: Field-Based Engineer
Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field-Based Engineer to join our client's London operations. As a Field-Based Engineer, you will play a crucial role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing vertical access equipment (hoists, lifts, rack & pinion systems) across London, with occasional UK travel.
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background, with relevant qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing vertical access equipment primarily across London, with occasional UK travel.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including VFCs and PLCs.
* Supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of equipment.
* Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning, and support teams.
* Completing service documentation accurately and on time.

Required skills and qualifications include:
* Relevant qualifications: NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering.
* Previous experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
* Full UK driving licence.
