About Mission Australia Housing
We provide social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians, ensuring access to quality housing that enables participation in communities. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Arranging the leasing of vacant properties efficiently
- Supporting tenants in maintaining their tenancies
- Conducting property inspections and completing reports
- Preparing court/tribunal documents as needed
- Maintaining accurate tenancy and property records
- Focusing on KPIs across performance areas
- Building positive relationships with stakeholders
- Developing strategies to connect tenants with additional support
Requirements for Success
- Experience working with vulnerable client groups and strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act (preferred)
- Experience in housing or social welfare sectors (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
- Current Driver's Licence and valid WWCC
Pre-employment requirements include a police check, qualifications verification, referee checks, and WWCC.
