Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Specialist)
The Australian National University (ANU) Counselling is seeking professionals with the following qualifications to join our team of counsellors:
* Registered or Clinical Psychologists
* Accredited Mental Health Social Workers
* Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapists
* Credentialed Mental Health Nurses
* Masters-qualified Counsellors with Level 4 ACA Membership
We require professional expertise in psychological counselling practices and young adult mental health. You will need an understanding of a broad range of personal, psychological, life stage, cultural and study related issues.
As a Counsellor, you will provide individual counselling to students, develop and present specialist group programs, workshops and seminars, and participate in projects that contribute to the professional practice of the centre.
You will also have the skills and knowledge to provide advice and support to the ANU community on matters relating to students who are distressed and/or acutely unwell. You will work within a large multidisciplinary Health and Wellbeing Service.
