Doolee Construction is experiencing solid growth, and we are looking for an experienced and hands-on
Human Resources Advisor
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is confident managing HR functions across both blue and white-collar workforces.
You’ll work closely with management & site teams to support end-to-end HR operations across contracts, onboarding, white collar recruitment, and general employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, issue, and manage blue and white-collar employment contracts.
Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Doolee internal policies & procedures.
Manage internal onboarding requirements before handover to the mobilsation team: Internal Inductions, VEVO checks, Onboarding paperwork.
Lodge and manage workers compensation claims. Liaise with insurers, RTW coordinators, and site managers.
Provide HR support for safety-related matters.
Oversee visa processes including new applications, transfers, compliance, job adverts and required documentation.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for white-collar roles: writing job ads, sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Build and maintain relationships with current labour providers.
Oversee probation reviews, contract variations, promotions and internal movements
Provide HR guidance on policies, entitlements, and general processes.
Complete performance reviews.
Manage IT onboarding for new starters and demobilisation for leavers.
Review & advise on tender submission documentation alongside the Estimating Department
Other duties as required by Management
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in HR advisory, HR coordination, or a similar role (construction or blue‑collar industries highly regarded).
Understands employment law, awards, and HR compliance.
Is proactive, organised, and able to manage competing deadlines.
Communicates confidently with workers at all levels.
Thrives in a busy, growing business where no two days look the same.
