Position: Civil Design Engineer – Land Development
Location: Perth, WA
A well-regarded design consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Design Engineer to strengthen its land development team in Perth. This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, working across subdivisions, urban development, and associated civil infrastructure.
You'll manage civil and drainage designs, deal directly with clients, and work closely with designers to produce practical, high-quality outcomes. The portfolio includes work for councils, government authorities, and private developers, offering variety and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver civil and drainage designs for land development projects
* Lead project coordination from concept design through to construction support
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide clear technical advice
* Oversee design outputs and coordinate with designers and junior engineers
* Ensure designs meet relevant standards and authority requirements
* Support project planning, documentation, and approvals
What You'll Bring
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering
* 5–8 years' experience in land development and subdivision projects
* Strong understanding of civil and drainage design
* Experience working with local councils, authorities, or private developers
* Ability to manage small to mid-sized projects with minimal supervision
* Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
