We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Mechanic/Drill Fitter to join our team.
Job Description
Maintenance and repairs of Drill Rigs, Heavy and Light Vehicles, and associated equipment are key responsibilities of this role. The successful candidate will work on a two-week on/one week off Fly-in/Fly-out roster with flights provided to site.
* Maintenance and Repairs:
* Maintenance and repairs to Drill Rigs and associated equipment.
* Maintenance and repairs to Heavy and Light Vehicles.
* Completion of Preventative Maintenance tasks and records.
The ideal candidate will have solid previous experience carrying out maintenance and repairs to Drill and/or Truck, knowledge and understanding of electronic control systems, qualifications in related fields, and basic computing skills. A current and valid Driver's License, National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old), and Fire-suppression qualification are also essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Tasks:
* Maintenance and repairs to Drill Rigs, Heavy and Light Vehicles, and associated equipment.
* Preventative Maintenance tasks and record keeping.
* Maintaining adequate stock levels of spare parts.
* Time and maintenance record keeping.
Requirements
* Essential Requirements:
* Solid previous experience carrying out Drill and/or Truck Maintenance.
* Knowledge and understanding of electronic control systems.
* Qualifications in related field i.e. Diesel or Mechanical Fitter certification.
* Current and valid Driver's License.
* National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
* Firesuppression qualification - not essential but highly advantageous.
