Your new role
As our Marketing and Engagement Coordinator, you'll play a key role in promoting The Disability Gateway, helping to increase awareness and understanding of this critical service for people with a disability, their families, and the broader community.
The role supports the delivery of national campaigns, coordinates community events and expos, and develops engaging content to reach diverse audiences. Working closely with internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders, you will bring strong organisational skills, initiative, and a commitment to social impact.
Duties
* Coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, and traditional media) in partnership with Brand & Marketing and government stakeholders, including adapting and distributing campaign materials, managing printing, and coordinating co-branded collateral and merchandise.
* Support campaign reporting and performance analysis, providing insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement and meet government reporting requirements.
* Coordinate community events and expos by managing logistics, materials, WHS requirements, liaising with key stakeholders and representing the Disability Gateway at key engagement activities.
* Develop and support newsletters, digital content and internal communications.
* Collaborate with frontline teams to develop case studies and promotional materials, and build relationships with service providers, community organisations, and internal stakeholders.
Skills And Experience
* A qualification in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field (degree or certificate), with at least 2 years' experience in a communications, marketing, or engagement role.
* Experience supporting multi-channel promotional campaigns (e.g. digital, social, radio, print) and developing marketing and engagement materials such as presentations, brochures, flyers, and digital content.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
* High attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, question inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy of materials and messaging.
* A collaborative, service-oriented approach, with confidence using digital tools and software to support communications and engagement activities.
