Following private equity acquisition, the business is in growth mode and ready for a CFO who can lead finance, IT, payroll, and inventory/logistics - and partner directly with the CEO to shape the future.
The role
As CFO, you'll lead a high-calibre team spanning finance, systems, payroll, inventory, logistics, and soon, IT. Reporting to the CEO, you'll have direct Board exposure and the mandate to modernise systems, improve processes, and elevate finance from a transactional function to a true business partner.
Key responsibilities
Lead and mentor a multi-functional team including finance, IT, payroll, and inventory/logistics
Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and financial governance in a fast-paced retail environment
Drive technology transformation - assess tech stack, identify gaps, and build business cases for change
Optimise team structure for a simpler entity framework (Australia & NZ)
Partner with the CEO and Board to shape and execute strategy
Manage the 3PL warehousing
Embed cost centre ownership and budget discipline across the business

About you
CA/CPA qualified with senior leadership experience in retail (vertical fashion manufacturing highly regarded)
Proven in managing cash flow, governance, and change in a complex, fast-moving environment
Skilled in systems and IT strategy, with an interest in technology-driven improvement
Able to build trust and influence at Board, CEO, and executive peer level
Comfortable leading teams through transition, restructuring, and cultural change
Ideally with private equity exposure, but not essential if retail manufacturing expertise is strong
