The City of Launceston is seeking a number of casual Pool Lifeguards for the Pool lifeguard work at the sites of the 3 pools across the municipality of Launceston.
The Launceston Aquatic Centre
The Gorge pool
Lilydale pool
Do I need to be a qualified Lifeguard?
Yes, you do require a qualification to be a Lifeguard, OR you should be currently enrolled in Lifeguard training.
What will my responsibilities be in the role?
* Supervising patrons in and around the swimming pools
* Facilitating a safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment
* Administering first aid and rescue response as required
What do I need?
* Be fully available to attend work including weekends, public holidays (i.e. Holiday periods), early mornings and late night shifts
* Current Working with Vulnerable Person's Licence
* A minimum of two years lifeguard experience
