About the role
We're seeking a talented Chef/Cook to join our team at the Nerang Community Bowls Club. In this casual role, you'll be responsible for creating delicious, high-quality meals for our members and visitors in our vibrant hospitality venue located in Nerang, Gold Coast, QLD 4211. Immediate start required.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing, cooking and plating a variety of meals to our club's high standards
* Ensuring all food is prepared to food safety regulations and quality specifications
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise efficiency and productivity
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of chef experience required
* Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
* Experience in preparing pub/club style meals is essential
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of our dynamic club environment
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position
* Full flexibility with availability is required for this casual position
