Queensland Rail is seeking a motivated and experienced Structures Team Leader to join our Regional Assets Team, based at either our Ayr or Townsville depot.

* Permanent full time role with an industry leader
* Potential annual salary of$135,000 (including penalties & allowances) + 12.75% super
* Predominantly a 9-day fortnight - Mon to Tues (5 day wkd )

About the role:
As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective maintenance of our structures, bridges, and culverts. You'll lead a small team of Bridgeworkers and help plan, resource, and deliver works to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations on bridges and structures
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to expected standards
* Support planning, problem-solving, and job preparation activities
* Oversee preventative maintenance and minor servicing of equipment
* Allocate and support mechanical maintenance tasks
* Perform administrative and record-keeping duties
* Strong knowledge of bridge and structural maintenance standards, processes, and costs
* Proven leadership, team coordination, and communication skills
* Sound understanding of relevant systems including SAP, MS Office, and IQMS
* A commitment to Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours
* Previous experience in a similar role or industry is highly regarded
