As a Senior Experience (UX) Designer for Business Banking, you'll be part of a growing design team solving fun, yet complex design problems. By applying a customer-centered approach, you'll play a key role in shaping the design and delivery of an exciting transformation of our Corporate and Institutional Banking experience, CommBiz. This platform provides products and services to our most complex business clients and their users, including ASX-listed companies.

Reporting to the Experience Design Lead, you will support the delivery of the Customer Experience strategy and vision for the new CommBiz web platform. You will collaborate with other experience designers, UI designers, UX writers, and accessibility managers, and work closely with our partners in digital research to deliver customer-driven outcomes. Our team has a strong learning and sharing culture where you can improve your skills as a designer.

What You Will Work On

Working closely with the product owner and your delivery squad, you will drive the discovery and detailed design of a range of CommBiz features like Accounts, Payments, Reporting, and Insights. Your skills as a designer will contribute to developing effective and cohesive experiences that have a high level of complexity, focused on meeting the needs of our clients now and into the future. This exciting transformation has high visibility and is still in its early stages, providing a huge opportunity to shape and influence the experience we deliver.

On any given week you will
* Lead multiple initiatives autonomously with an overview from the Experience Design Lead, balancing discovery and delivery work as required.
* Work with Experience Designers and Lead to create and implement a cohesive UX strategy for our CommBiz experience.
* Assist the Lead to scope, plan, and provide estimates for the discovery and delivery of your initiatives.
* Use data and exploratory research to understand the customer and business drivers behind the products you're designing, to deliver measurable outcomes.
* Design customer-centric experiences through the creation of decision trees, screen flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, including detailed documentation.
* Deliver compelling presentations to a range of audiences to communicate your design and rationale
* Work closely with delivery teams to ensure design assets and specifications fit their requirements, including Product Owners and Engineering, some based remotely.
* Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders including Product Managers, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance representatives.

We Are Interested To Hear From People Who Have
* Expert knowledge of customer-centered design balanced with commercial acumen.
* Strong communication skills with demonstrated success presenting design in a clear and persuasive manner.
* Confident cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Strong problem-solving, conceptual, and detailed design skills to drive solutions at all levels of detail.
* Experience designing for complex, transactional consumer interfaces across multiple platforms (i.e., enterprise, web responsive, native).
* An ability to visualize solutions in appropriate ways: e.g., flows, free-hand sketching, white-board facilitation, wireframing, and prototyping.
* Experience using customer research, usability testing, behavioural or digital analytics to create and optimize designs.
* Skills in information architecture, task flow, and/or decision tree mapping.
* Experience successfully planning and leading UX project delivery within an Agile development framework to agreed timeframes.
