We're on the lookout for a commercially savvy, financially sharp leader to step into the role of Commercial Manager within our Hardware Group Own Network. This is a high-impact position where you'll be the trusted advisor to the Group GM and leadership team, delivering insights, driving profitability, and guiding strategic decision-making across our retail and trade business.

About The Opportunity
Partnering & Planning

* Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that support sustainable growth.
* Build scenarios and identify opportunities to meet budget objectives.

Forecasting & Budgeting

* Lead the forecasting and budgeting process with a strong focus on accuracy and insight.
* Track financial performance and drive data-led decision making through clear analysis.

Performance & Month-End Insights

* Deliver insightful variance analysis, commentary, and performance tracking.
* Own monthly reporting packs and work cross-functionally to drive improvements.

Inventory & Operations Support

* Champion inventory optimisation and support compliance with stocktake processes.
* Partner with store operations to ensure commercial strategies translate into front-line success.

Property & CAPEX

* Oversee lease schedules, capex modelling, and support key investment decisions with robust financial analysis.

Risk, Compliance & Audit

* Identify key risks, ensure compliance, and help maintain audit readiness across commercial functions.

You're Likely a Match

* CA or CPA qualified with strong commercial instincts and operational awareness
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or trade environment
* Advanced financial literacy, strong modelling skills and the ability to distill complex insights
* Confident communicator – able to engage, influence and partner across all levels
* Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and retail systems (ERP, POS)
