You will be responsible to execute, manage and support procurement activities and processes across Helping Hand to ensure effective governance and adherence to endorsed procurement framework. The position also undertakes purchasing activities for high value requirements and provides advice and guidance to business units on their localised low value purchasing activities.
You'll also make an impact by:
* Providing day-to-day purchasing support, including raising purchase orders, sourcing quotes, coordinating approvals, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
* Assisting with contract administration activities such as preparing documentation, tracking contract milestones, monitoring expiries, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
* Supporting the Procurement department with onboarding and maintaining vendor compliance, including checking insurances, certifications, and mandatory documentation in Rapid Global.
* Providing oversight and administrative support for the organisational fleet, including coordinating bookings, maintaining vehicle records, monitoring servicing schedules, and supporting compliance with fleet policies.
* Working closely with business units to support procurement needs, provide guidance on purchasing processes, and ensure requests align with Helping Hand's procurement framework.
* Assisting with data entry, reporting, and maintaining procurement systems to ensure visibility of spend, supplier performance, and contract information.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Experience working within Procurement and a strong understanding of our systems, processes, and values.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* The ability to negotiate, influence, and work confidently with internal teams and external providers.
* Interest or emerging skills in procurement, including supplier engagement, contract management, compliance requirements, and sourcing activities.
* Experience in aged care, home care, or support services.
