Project Engineer – Civil / Marine / Mechanical

Atom Resources is partnering with a major contractor delivering works on the Dampier Wharf Project and is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team on a short-term contract.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who can step in quickly and assist a live project.
The Opportunity
You will be based on-site supporting the delivery of a large-scale marine and civil infrastructure project. While a civil or marine background is preferred, engineers from a mechanical or services background are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day project delivery support on site
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors
* Supporting planning, scheduling and progress tracking
* Monitoring quality, safety and scope compliance
* Liaising with site teams and stakeholders
* Supporting reporting and project controls
* Driving momentum and assisting with programme recovery
About You
Essential
* Engineering degree or related qualification
* Ability to hit the ground running
* Confident leading and managing subcontractors
* Strong site-based delivery experience
* Hands-on, proactive approach
Beneficial
* Civil or structural background (preferred)
* Marine / wharf project experience
* Utilities scope exposure (pipes, valves, hydrotesting)
* Mechanical background (skill gap currently on project)
* Experience working on North West WA projects

19 days on / 9 days off - 2/1 roster
