Speech Pathologist – Paediatric – Melton & Ballarat | Clinic-based with flexibility | Supportive MDT
If you're a Speech Pathologist who loves working with children and families and wants to do high-quality work without being driven purely by KPIs, this is a role where support, learning and sustainability genuinely matter.
You'll be joining a well-established allied health organisation with a strong reputation across Victoria for whole-person, family-centred care. The focus here is on doing therapy well — with realistic expectations, strong clinical leadership and systems that support you rather than slow you down.
These are two separate clinic-based roles (Melton and Ballarat), both offering flexibility in hours and caseload design. Whether you're early in your career or looking to deepen your paediatric expertise, the role can be shaped around your strengths and interests.
What you'll get
* Full-time or part-time options (including 4-day weeks)
* Clinic-based role with flexible outreach to schools or homes if you choose
* Predominantly paediatric NDIS caseload
* Realistic KPIs (average 4.5–5 billable hours/day)
* Billables include therapy, reports, prep, travel and assessments
* Base salary typically $92k–$110k + super (experience dependent)
* Bonus structure triggered once caseload reaches ~80%
* Strong admin support for intake, scheduling and accounts
* Access to AAC, group programs and varied therapy models
* Sign-on bonus and relocation support considered
* Sponsorship available for eligible international candidates
The impact you'll make
In this role, you'll support children and families to build communication, confidence and participation by:
* Completing speech, language and communication assessments
* Delivering evidence-based, child-centred therapy
* Supporting children with ASD, GDD, language delay and AAC needs
* Working closely with families, schools and support networks
* Contributing to group programs where appropriate
* Preparing clear, purposeful NDIS documentation
* Collaborating with a large, experienced multidisciplinary team
Support, learning & growth (this is a big one)
You won't be left to figure things out alone. Support here is structured and ongoing:
* Gradual caseload ramp-up (especially for newer clinicians)
* Weekly 1:1 supervision
* Multidisciplinary and discipline-specific supervision
* Peer observation and shared learning
* Internal PD, Lunch & Learns and team days
* Encouraged development in your areas of interest first (e.g. AAC, play-based therapy, groups)
