About The Role
We are seeking Production Operators to join our manufacturing team on:
* Day Shift: 7:30 am–3:30 pm
* Afternoon Shift: 4:00 pm–12:00 am (shift loading allowance applies)
This role suits someone who enjoys physical, practical work, takes pride in quality, and shows up ready to work.
Experience is welcome, but attitude, reliability and work ethic matter most.
You will work across multiple production areas including slitting, folding, roll‑forming and custom sheet‑metal manufacturing.
This is a role where people who perform well, show commitment and fit our culture can progress into permanent employment and build a long‑term career in manufacturing.
What You Will Be Doing
* Read and work from production orders and job instructions to meet daily production schedules
* Operate - or learn to operate - coil slitters, pan‑brake folders and other sheet‑metal equipment
* Manufacture custom sheet‑metal products to specification and quality standards
* Pick, pack and prepare finished orders for dispatch
* Perform manual handling tasks (loading, unloading, stacking)
* Complete daily equipment start‑up and safety checks
* Maintain a sharp eye on quality and attention detail
* Work closely with your team to meet daily production and quality targets
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
* Follow safety procedures, SOPs and instructions at all times
What We Are Looking For
Non‑negotiables
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Basic computer / system entry capability
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Safety‑first mindset
* Reliable, punctual and consistent
* Positive attitude – not a "that's not my job" type
* Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team
Nice To Have (but Not Essential)
* Current Forklift Licence
* Experience in manufacturing, warehousing or sheet‑metal industry
* Machine operating experience
