We are looking for an experienced Full Time Venue Supervisor to join the PLG team at The Glasshouse in Caulfield. You'll oversee all areas of the venue to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Supervise employees during their shifts and offer assistance as needed with monitoring revenue targets and controlling costs.
Centrally located in Caulfield East right next to the train station and on the edge of Melbourne's spectacular Caulfield Racecourse, home of the Melbourne Racing Club.
The Caulfield Glasshouse is one of the best original pubs in Melbourne. With all day dining and plenty of entertainment available it is the perfect location for a day out with friends, to celebrate a special event, or a casual dinner.
What will my duties include?
* Supervise all areas of the venue to ensure smooth and efficient operations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Ensure employees are allocated to correct areas on shift and labour is well controlled and managed.
* Lead and support the team during shifts, providing guidance and addressing issues. Ensure staff are well‐trained and motivated.
* Ensure that all health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
The role you are applying for may be quite fast‐paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.
What We Are Looking For
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
* Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG).
* Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence.
* Food Handlers Certificate
* TAB Compliance
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
