Position Overview

As Right Angle's Head of Operations, you will operationalise the company's vision, beliefs, and approach to work. We are looking for a front-facing, impactful leader who balances internal efficiency with a strong focus on our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

* Be a highly visible, proactive leader who steps into client service or team crossroads with confidence, rather than managing solely from back‐of‐house.
* Contribute to the company vision and planning tools (including 2026 roadmap).

Productivity

* Establish a client‐centric workflow that elevates our end‐to‐end project lifecycle so that clients experience seamless (but still human) delivery, and that our project and account leads are empowered rather than bogged down by processes.
* Drive profitability on projects by ensuring resourcing is agile, balancing workloads across our Sydney and Melbourne hubs effectively.
* Understand our platforms and be capable of establishing new ones if required.
* Accountable for project workflow across the business, ensuring we deliver to quality and on time.
* Lead productivity‐related meetings, including the weekly team WIP and resourcing.

Team

* Bridge the gap between our Sydney and Melbourne teams, ensuring our culture, onboarding, and day‐to‐day operations feel unified and energetic across locations.
* Act as a champion for the team's capacity by knowing when to push, when to protect them, and when to trigger freelance or full‐time hiring.
* Recruit for all roles with input from directors and department leads.
* Lead company onboarding, and implement improvement opportunities.
* Understand company culture and morale, proactively providing solutions for staff problems or escalating them to the director level.
* Manager to operational roles, including Account Managers and Project Managers.

Finance

* Assist directors in the general comprehension of business finances.
* Manage Accounts Payable (Finance Administrator), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the provision of clear financial reporting.
* Assist Bluerock (Accountants).
* Manage company budgeting.

Administration

* Assess all contracts, including employment contracts, before director signing.
* Ensure all necessary insurances are in place.
* Report on productivity as required by directors.
