We are seeking a passionate dance teacher to join our school Co-Curricular Dance Program on a casual basis. Ravenswood is proud of its growing Co-Curricular Dance Program that offers classes for students in Prep to Year 12 in a variety of dance styles.
The successful candidate will:
* Be available to teach Monday afternoons from 3.00-7.00pm in 2026
* Be highly organised with strong communication skills
* Have qualifications and training in Acrobatic Arts or similar
* Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching Acro Dance
* Have a passion for positively building the schools' dance program
* Be willing to take classes with a range of abilities and the possibility of working in a team-teaching capacity for larger class sizes.
* Have ability to teach other styles of dance if needed, particularly Junior School Jazz
* Hold up to date CPR and First Aid training
* Be willing to or have completed a safe dance training course recently.
These classes are held on Monday afternoons and there is the potential for this role to expand over time.
