Benefits Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 per Annum + Superannuation Task & responsibilities Operate a taxi to safely transport passengers to their destinations Provide assistance to passengers with luggage and entering or exiting the vehicle when needed Manage metered fares and process a range of payment methods Ensure the vehicle remains clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy Communicate clearly with dispatch and utilise GPS/navigation tools effectively Comply with all Queensland road laws and relevant taxi industry regulations Qualification & experience A minimum of 2–3 years of full-time experience as a taxi or professional passenger driver A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in a related field (preferred) Hold a current Open Queensland Driver Licence Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Queensland Driver Authorisation (DA) for taxi services Have strong communication skills, sound knowledge of Cairns and surrounding suburbs, and a strong commitment to ensuring passenger safety and wellbeing About Company Bachra & Garcha operates a taxi service under the Cairns Taxis brand, providing reliable transport across Cairns and its surrounding suburbs.
