At Indianic Homes, we specialise in designing and building high-end Custom Homes across Western Australia's stunning South West region. We're looking for a Construction Carpenter to join our dynamic team! If you're eager to work on exciting projects and bring your carpentry skills to life, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials
* Read and interpret plans, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise construction
* Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to plans
* Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard
* Ensure the quality of all finished work meets or exceeds client expectations
Qualifications
* Certificate 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or Certificate 3 in Carpentry
* Driver's Licence
* Construction Induction (White Card)
* Supply own vehicle and tools
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
* Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
* Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality craftsmanship
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
