You’re a capable and confident leader—driven by results but grounded and down-to-earth. You lead by example, bring people along on the journey, and know how to balance commercial acumen with a strong sense of care.

This role primarily partners with key customers, building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial partnerships. It involves securing existing business and driving growth while actively seeking new opportunities. Reporting to the COO, the role will oversee all elements of builder account management, nurture existing relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to our customers, and improve the entire customer experience.

You will possess a versatile skill set and the ability to adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the role, which encompasses analytical skills, and strategic and tactical insight.

You will be driven to break things down before building them back up and you will understand disparate elements of a business function as a whole, in turn, identifying and executing on opportunities to deliver growth and profitability.

Your career to date would focus on project management, sales, people and culture, bringing a big picture viewpoint that drives maximum productivity, and performance by focusing on ‘how’ to elicit the value that everyone has to bring to the table.

You will ultimately be responsible for:

Build, maintain, and strategically grow new business within the construction tender markets for the range of products

Provide support for the Internal Sales Estimator to resolve any customer issues that may arise, so a timely resolution can be achieved

Networking with business partners and customers

Be an effective member of the senior management team, contributing to our clients' strategic direction, business decisions and product development opportunities

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitor products and strengths / limitations to maximize quoting efficiency

Delivering projects to the highest standards of quality and service

Effectively utilise and update the Projects IT platforms

Document projects to limit the possibility of misinterpretation or incorrect information causing errors. (layouts, track designs, finishes, shop drawings and CAD drawings as required)

Maintain collaborative and productive relationships with the wider team members

Ensure the safe loading/unloading of goods for installers (interstate depots only)

Ensure there is a stock control program in place that satisfy cycle requirements

Operational efficiency and effectiveness

Regularly conduct process reviews and propose and implement efficiency improvements for operational and inventory management success

Lead by example and endorse company behaviours and values

Understand, observe, and adhere to company policies and procedures, including OHS policies and procedures and at all times ensure that work practices are conducted in a safe manner

About you...

Proven experience as a Branch or State Manager, Project Manager, or Sales Executive

Over 5 years of experience in construction or collaborating with builders

Knowledge and experience in flexible space systems—like commercial facades, windows and doors, operable walls, acoustic sliders, agile panels, door systems, and decorative screens—are definitely a plus, but not a requirement.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Financial acumen to manage budgets and drive cost efficiencies

Ability to grasp technical concepts and products / Ability to read and interpret plans

Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills / Ability to manage and influence relationships and expectations at all levels of an organization

Experience in a made to order style of production environment

Ability to grasp technical concepts and products

Proficient in Estimating & Quotes, including bidding on quoting manufactured products

Capable of interpreting plans with a keen understanding of what motivates people in the field
