Heston MRO is a leading provider of Maintenance, repair and overhaul services to a variety of international aviation clients.
Our Head Office location is situated in the airport industrial park, a stone's throw from the domestic and international terminals, DFO and with easy access to the highway.
About the Role
We are seeking HR Business Partner to join our existing team providing support to frontline staff, operational leaders and the executive as required.
With a growing and complex workforce this role offers a growth opportunity in an established team.
Key duties will include the following, shared within a team:
* Recruitment of engineers requiring the ability to understand complex licencing provisions. This is the highest priority and a significant component of the role.
* Coordinating onboarding requirements
* Advice on people matters to support capability development in our leaders
* Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements is essential
* Support for payroll (although no actual administration of payroll)
* Strong administrative skills - managing security, access and other functions through multiple third-party software systems
* Performance management frameworks and advice
* Visa management with the assistance of our agent partner.
What are we looking for?
A minimum of 3 years in an operational HR role in Australia and/or strong background in technical recruitment are a key requirement of the role.
Is tech recruitment essential? I would say – an advantage.
Experience managing multiple roles and/or bulk recruitment will be an advantage.
Degree qualified in Human Resources, Employment Relations or other relevant discipline.
Experience in the aviation sector is a benefit but not essential.
You will be a Citizen of Permanent Resident of Australia
