About the role
We are seeking two part-time or one full time hour Guest Service Agent to join our Night Audit team at the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton (overnight shift). As a Night Auditor for the Front Office Department, you are responsible for attending to guests needs and efficiently assisting the Front Office Manager in completing daily reports and reconciliations. You will be relied on to accurately prepare and present reports in a timely manner daily.
What you'll be doing
* Post and balance all hotel work for each day
* Prepare restaurant audits to breakdown and balance restaurant figures
* Handle all computers end of day issues and problems that might occur throughout shift
* Reconcile credit card system to daily transaction list from rooms
* Engaging with guests, demonstrating genuine customer service
* Ensuring the check in and check-out procedure is seamless
* Managing guest queries, issues and complaints with sensitivity, urgency and sincerity following HEART and Empowerment guidelines
* Being aware of hotel activities, by reading logs, memos, information board, group arrivals and departures
* Being focused on creating a rewarding experience for all guests throughout the entirety of their stay at Hilton Garden Inn
* Engaging with guests, demonstrating genuine customer service
* Capable of working independently during overnight shifts from 10.00pm to 6.00am
What we're looking for
* RSA accreditation and preferably approved Managers License
* Good communication, organization and coordination skills.
* Good team player.
* Ability to work independently.
* Responsible and self-motivated.
* Patient, responsible and proactive in dealing with problems.
* Able to maintain excellent relations with team members.
* Able to work under great physical and mental pressures.
* Familiar with computer systems.
* Prefer Experience in Hotel Reception
* Fluent in spoken and written English to meet business needs.
