About the Role
In this crucial finance leadership position, you will ensure that TasTAFE's decision makers have access to timely, predictive and actionable data. Ultimately translating complex data into meaningful insights that drive better decisions. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance and Procurement, you will manage everything from pricing methodologies, modeling to complex data analysis and submissions.
Responsibilities
* Data Strategy and modelling: Developing and owning reporting repositories, such as Power BI and creating predictive models to assist management.
* Pricing Management: Leading the TasTAFE pricing process and TasTAFE Pricing and Fees Policy.
* Statutory Compliance: Managing all data requests and submissions to funding agencies and statutory bodies.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Working across the organisation to meet information requirements and providing training in data and reporting.
* Team Leadership: Managing a team of Data and Pricing professionals and driving a performance culture.
About You
* Data Storytelling: The ability to tell compelling stories with data to senior executives to support decision making.
* Experience: Considerable expertise in driving continuous improvement within data or technology operations.
* Leadership: Demonstrated ability in people management and fostering a high performing, results orientated team culture.
* Communication: The ability to work with stakeholders of varying levels of data and financial literacy.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Data Science, Finance, or a similar discipline.
Requirements
* Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People in Tasmania or the ability to obtain.
* Relevant qualifications are required for this role.
