Job Description
KPMG Australia’s Head of Insights will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making across the firm, ensuring we have a deep understanding of our clients' needs and the broader market landscape.
The Head of Insights will be responsible for championing the Client Insights function within the firm, building a diverse and high-performing team, demonstrating ROI and therefore building the case for increasing budget, developing a comprehensive insights strategy, executing the client and markets research program, translating data into actionable insights, and disseminating data across a complex firm. The ultimate goal for the Head of Insights is to uncover insights that will drive action oriented-insight and behaviors across the firm, bolster KPMG Australia’s market position, and most importantly, enable our consultants to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Your Opportunity
* Champion the Client Insights team and programs within the firm, as enablers of data-driven decision-making
* Lead the development and execution of a robust client insights strategy aligned with KPMG Australia’s overall firm-wide strategy.
* Oversee the best practice collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from diverse sources, including client surveys/interviews, internal firm data, market research, and industry reports.
* Establish and manage a high-performing team of researchers with expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Your Experience
* Prior experience within research/insights/analytics within a business to business or consulting environment.
* Knowledge and experience of how large consulting firms operate.
* Leadership and team management skills
* Business acumen, strategic thinking and data storytelling skills
* Ability to build, manage and champion budgets.
* Ability to distil data sources (qualitative, quantitative, secondary, etc.) into an insightful story with actionable recommendations.
* Familiarity in running complex research projects that require data inputs from multiple sources.
* Proven ability to convert customer insights and market research into action programs.
* Strong analytical and data visualization skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software
* An understanding of algorithms and sophisticated statistical analysis techniques.
