Your Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity to join our successful team based in Beaudesert as a Water Industry Worker keeping water flowing to and from our customers' properties in the Scenic Rim
In this role, you'll work in a team that is engaged in field inspection, repair, replacement and operation of Queensland Urban Utilities’ assets. This ensures we are delivering safe clean drinking water to the communities we serve.
The role requires that you be available to work shifts between 6am - 5:30am and work 2 weekends in 10 (shift penalties apply). This roster has set, recurrent rostered days off with regular overtime opportunities. In return, we'll train you in all aspects of the role so that you have real variety and career progression.

WHAT WE HOPE YOU’LL BRING
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future and, ideally, have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
* Experience in a similar industry – Civil Construction/Maintenance, Plumbing, Utilities, Pipelaying
* Strong focus and commitment towards safety
* MR or HR driver's licence is mandatory – or willing to obtain prior to employment
* Experience operating an excavator and bobcat is desirable but not essential
* Being a licenced Plumber is desirable but not essential
* A great communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a team
* A strong work ethic, with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Please note that you must be physically fit and pass a pre-employment medical before starting with us in this role.
