An exciting role exists for a Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to join our dynamic Medical Physics team based in the Sunshine Coast Region of Queensland.
This position will be based at our Icon Cancer centres Maroochydore and Noosa, providing essential support to our radiotherapy practices and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
You will be a key member of our broad network of physicists supporting our radiation oncology sites nationwide.
Our Sunshine Coast facilities at Maroochydore and Noosa boast advanced technologies including beam matched Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators with Varian Identify SGRT.
Treatment services include cranial and extracranial stereotactic radiotherapy, including Varian HyperArc, advanced motion management packages, SGRT based treatments, as well as standard techniques including DIBH Breast, and VMAT/IMRT.
The appointed Medical Physicist will assist our Regional Medical Physics Manager and Group Director of Medical Physics in providing medical physics support services to the radiotherapy practices operated by us.
Your responsibilities will include routine physics tasks, equipment quality assurance, patient-specific quality assurance, and treatment planning support.
This is a full-time permanent role that will report to the Regional Medical Physics Manager. A generous Professional Development package is available, as well as a one-off relocation package (if deemed suitable).
