Buonissimo Bakery is recognised as one of the top leading suppliers to Woolworths chilled bakeries nationally. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety to ensure every product is made with care and precision. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our Product Development team at our manufacturing facility in Wetherill Park, Sydney.
You will play a key role in developing high-quality, handcrafted pastries and desserts — and will work closely under the guidance of our New Product Development Manager to help bring innovative ideas to life while upholding our signature flavours and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management and wider team on new product development.
- Run trials, tastings, and sensory panels to perfect every creation.
- Ensure all products meet Buonissimo’s quality standards.
- Ensure equipment and kitchen area is maintained to a high standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of professional pastry experience (bakery or patisserie). Formal qualifications are essential.
- Display strong technical skills.
- Ability to follow recipes with precision, while also contributing creatively.
- A proactive, adaptable team player with excellent time management skills.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
