Palliative Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities

* Engage with community groups and healthcare professionals to raise awareness of Palliative Care services, enhancing access and quality.
* Coordinate initiatives for quality improvement and participate in relevant research projects, driving excellence in care delivery.


Ideal Candidate

* Registered Nurse with advanced clinical competence and substantial experience in Palliative Care, possessing a strong foundation in patient assessment and intervention.
* Demonstrate proven skills in planning, coordination, and decision making, showcasing a proactive approach to patient care and a commitment to excellence.
* Exhibit well-developed leadership abilities, with experience in fostering team dynamics and promoting a positive work environment.
* Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Strong understanding of risk management and quality management principles as they pertain to healthcare, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Committed to professional development and the continuous improvement of care standards, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
