SIL Manager / House Manager
Disability Support Workers
SIL Manager / Accommodation Manager to support participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people with disability.
This role plays a key part in managing participant services, supporting houses and teams and ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of our houses.
You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure services are delivered to a high standard, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role requires a high level of organisation, consistent follow-up with team members under your supervision, and the ability to confidently manage people.
As the SIL / Accommodation Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a small diverse caseload of NDIS participants across the SIL houses. You’ll coordinate supports, work closely with participants and their families, and ensure services are delivered to the highest standard in line with NDIS requirements. This is a people-focused role, and the ability to build strong relationships while maintaining a light, professional approach is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support a caseload of NDIS participants in SIL arrangements
* Develop and implement person-centred plans aligned with participant goals
* Coordinate daily supports and collaborate with support workers and teams
* Liaise with families, guardians, and allied health professionals
* Monitor progress, review outcomes, and adjust plans as needed
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, SIL guidelines, and internal policies
* Contribute to service excellence and continuous improvement
* Manage participant services across allocated houses
* Maintain strong communication with participants, families, and stakeholders
* Work closely with Team Leaders to support staff and house operations
* Conduct regular stakeholder meetings
* Facilitate toolbox meetings within houses (approx. every 6 weeks)
* Meet with Team Leaders fortnightly to review house performance
* Provide structured fortnightly reports to the Operations Manager (CC CEO)
* Ensure documentation, communication, and service delivery standards are maintained
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Experience in the disability or community services sector
* Experience of working with Restrictive Practices
* Strong understanding of the NDIS, especially SIL supports
* Exceptional communication, coordination, and documentation skills
* Ability to build trust and rapport with participants and stakeholders
* Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
* A minimum Certificate III (or higher) in a relevant field
* 12 months or more industry experience
* If you have 6 months industry experience and are undertaking a relevant certificate, we are interested in having a discussion with you!
* Working with Children (Paid) Check
* NDIS Worker Screening (Paid) Check
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Ability to provide Government issued photo identification
* Valid Australian working rights
