Sharp & Carter is proud to partner with one of Australia’s largest and most respected funeral services organisations to appoint a Regional Manager overseeing a portfolio of established brands across Tasmania.
This is a senior, highly visible leadership role with full accountability for financial performance, team capability and sustainable regional growth. You will operate with autonomy and trust - effectively running your own region within a well-supported national structure.
It requires a leader who is commercially strong yet people-first - someone who can balance performance expectations with empathy, integrity and cultural leadership.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a portfolio of brands and locations across Tasmania.
You will directly manage 6 senior leaders, overseeing a broader regional team, and will play a critical role in strengthening engagement, visibility and leadership continuity across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
Full ownership of regional financial performance and growth targets Coaching and developing leaders to drive sales capability and accountability Strengthening culture, engagement and on-the-ground leadership presence Driving operational standards, compliance and service excellence Identifying market opportunities and supporting local growth initiatives Building strong community and stakeholder relationships This is a role that requires visible leadership - regular travel across Tasmania and strong in-person engagement are essential.
About You
We are open to experienced multi-site leaders from retail, hospitality, health, logistics or other service-driven environments.
You will bring:
Proven experience managing multi-site operations Demonstrated P&L accountability Strong coaching capability and experience leading leaders A track record of driving performance through people High emotional intelligence and integrity A visible, hands-on leadership style Industry experience is not essential - strong transferable leadership capability is.
