**The opportunity**
Are you a reporter or broadcaster looking to launch your career on National Television and Radio? A rare opportunity exists to join the Australian Traffic Network (ATN) team as a full-time Traffic Reporter based in Melbourne.
**About the role**
As a Traffic Reporter you will join our thriving, fast paced team at ATN in Melbourne broadcasting live traffic reports from the ATN traffic chopper and in-studio that will air across major television networks and commercial radio stations in both metropolitan and regional areas.
As an ATN Traffic Reporter you will:
- Report live traffic updates on both television and radio
- Be confident and capable presenting from an aircraft as well as in-studio
- Work a split shift Monday to Friday
- Hours including Morning (5am - 9am) and Afternoon (3pm to 7pm)
**Experience and skills you will need**
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years previous broadcasting, presenting or reporting experience
- Basic audio recording and editing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and broadcast accuracy
- A vibrant personality that shines on camera
- Clear and articulate verbal communication skills
- Some basic knowledge of Melbourne roads
- An enthusiastic and engaging personality
