Selection Criteria
* Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership and management of staff
* Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
* Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements under Family Assistance Law and the ability to accurately use relevant software applications to ensure compliance
* Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for a budget for an OSHC or early childhood education and care service
* Demonstrated knowledge of:
o My Time Our Place Framework (MTOP) V2.0 (and/or Victorian Early Years Development Framework VEYLDF)
o Education and Care Services National Law
o Education and Care Services National Regulations
o Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)
o Child Protection legislation
Role
3 x 3.5hr (3:00pm-6:30pm) OSHC sessions per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, plus an additional 4hrs per week of additional Administration for Updating Records, Policies and Procedures. As well as creating resources, educational program and emails/QIP.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and management to educators and staff regarding all aspects of the operation of the OSHC Service in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
* Liaise closely with and provide periodical reports to the area manager/approved provider regarding the operation of the OSHC Service
* Support educators and staff with professional training and mentoring to effectively manage the OSHC Service, whilst providing feedback regarding performance on a regular systematic basis

Anyone with the following qualifications:
* Current approved First Aid qualification
* Current ACECQA approved anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
* Current approved CPR training
* National Child Safety Training
* Approved Child Protection Training (if required, check state/territory requirements)

NOMINATED SUPERVISOR CONDITIONS
* Be 18 years or older
* Have adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to children and young people
* Effectively supervise and manage an education and care service
* Consent to the role of the nominated supervisor
* Agree and be willing to be placed in day-to-day charge of the education and care service

Tarnagulla Primary School was established in 1874 and is located in the south of the Loddon Shire, 47 kilometres west of Bendigo.Tarnagulla Primary School has a current enrolment of 16 students. In 2026 it is staffed by the Principal, 2.0 equivalent full-time teachers and 0.4 specialist classroom teachers.In 2026 the school operates two multi-aged classrooms, P-3 and a 4-6. The school provides a comprehensive and dynamic curriculum catering for the needs of all students. In 2026 the school provides specialist lessons for The Arts, Physical Education, STEM and Library (MARC Van). Key challenges exist in the fluctuating nature of enrolments, rurality and isolation.
