About the Role
Based in Perth, our specialist pipeline team delivers innovative overland and tailings pipeline projects across Australia and internationally. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are looking for a talented Pipeline Designer to help shape the future of mining infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Develop pipeline alignments and layouts for a variety of pipeline projects, typically within the mining industry.
* Prepare detailed design and drafting deliverables using industry‑standard tools and GIS systems.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines.
* Ensure design accuracy and consistency with project standards, survey or other GIS data, and client expectations.
Qualifications
* Ability to work within a 3D environment and across several office design project setups (server, cloud, SharePoint).
* Exposure to map projections.
* Ability to problem‑solve and contribute to projects to improve efficiency and exceed client expectations.
* Experience in pipeline or piping design, including layout development.
* Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software).
* Technical Design degree or equivalent qualification.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Previous experience in mining, gas or heavy industry projects is highly desirable.
