Exact Contracting are looking for a maintenance supervisor to join their team working on remote civil and mining projects in the Northern Territory.
Role Overview
This is a site-based workshop role reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and Project Manager. You will be responsible for supervising safe and cost-effective maintenance activities on projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead and promote safety culture and industry leadership;
* Manage resources to meet maintenance schedules;
* Drive operational efficiencies;
* Provide leadership and supervision through presence, guidance, and feedback;
* Motivate team members towards goals;
* Conduct employee performance appraisals and develop improvement plans;
* Resolve crew problems and conflicts;
* Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance of mobile plant equipment, including fault finding and diagnostics to prevent breakdowns.
Role Requirements
* Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification;
* Current driver's license;
* Experience in supervisory or management roles;
* Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi mobile equipment;
* Experience with Kenworth and Mack Trucks and ancillary gear;
* Understanding of civil/mining mobile plant and crushing operations;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems like MEX;
* Strong planning, time management, and prioritization skills;
* Effective communication skills for liaising with employees, clients, and suppliers;
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude;
* Willingness to work in remote locations;
* Hands-on approach.
