Senior Exploration Geologist Lead Gold Target Discovery
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead gold target discovery with a strong background in WA gold systems.
* Plan exploration programmes that effectively uncover hidden gold reserves.
* Supervise field activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of the exploration programme.
* Mentor junior geologists to develop their skills and knowledge in gold system exploration.
This site-based role provides FIFO from Perth with flexible rosters, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective exploration strategies to discover new gold targets.
2. Lead a team of geologists to conduct site visits, sampling, and geological mapping.
3. Analyze data and identify areas of interest for further investigation.
4. Communicate findings to stakeholders and make recommendations for future exploration programs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of WA gold systems, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
