THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join our growing, dynamic office, primarily based in East Maitland. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Working on taxation and business related matters for clients;
* Preparing financial accounts (companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders);
* Income tax returns;
* BAS and IAS; and
* Face-to-face appointments with clients

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
We will provide training on our existing processes, however, the applicant requires:
* Accounting qualifications or studying towards these;
* CA or CPA qualification, or be in the process of completing post-graduate studies;
* Have a client service focus;
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite;
* Ability to meet time frames with proven attention to detail;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Experience on the following aspects would be highly advantageous, but are not a requirement:
* Various software such as Xero
