Offer description

At CoAct, inclusion isn’t just a value – it’s how we work. As we transition from the DES contract to the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) model, we’re excited to welcome an enthusiastic Inclusive Employment Specialist. We’re not just hiring – we’re looking for someone with purpose, energy, and the experience of a Senior Consultant ready to take the next step in their career.

Have you been the go-to for coaching, mentoring, and turning complex into clear and now are ready to the next step? This role is for someone with strong operational knowledge who can train and energise frontline staff on contracts, quality, systems, and bring compliance to life in a way that sticks.

Exploring the role

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Design and deliver transitional training programs that make the shift from DES to IEA a smooth ride for our Service Partners
* Translate complex guidelines into digestible, operational content that staff can actually use
* Provide coaching and on-the-ground support to uplift frontline capability and confidence
* Work closely with our L&D, Quality, and Ops legends to make sure contract implementation lands flawlessly
* Be the calm in the compliance storm - support audits, align policies, and help the team stay sharp and ready
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to embed new systems, practices, and people-first solutions
* Lead face-to-face training sessions across partner sites (Sept–Dec 2025), covering compliance, quality, systems, and SDM case studies
* Coach and uplift frontline capability through scenario-based learning and hands-on support

What we’re looking for

* A strong background in Disability Employment Service is a pre-requisite for this role
* A collaborative, people-first mindset with the ability to build trust quickly, demonstrated through past success in coaching staff to achieve in DES
* Confidence facilitating diverse learner groups, both online and in person
* Experience in roles such as Senior Consultant, Site Manager, Performance Manager, or Internal Trainer
* OR roles in Quality, Monitoring, Compliance, or Claims (with frontline experience)

Bonus points for

* Experience with audits, workforce planning, or project implementation
* Familiarity with CRM/data tools like JobReady and MODE
* Creative thinking, quick problem-solving, and a calm, solutions-focused approach
* Experience overseeing contract compliance, staff performance, or interpreting guidelines
* A knack for turning complex content into practical, engaging learning

Required qualifications

* Cert IV in Training & Assessment or a relevant qualification in Education, Learning & Development, or similar

What can we offer?

* 6-month contract | full-time role - 38 hours per week
* Flexible working arrangements - work from home
* Competitive salary packaging (save on tax)
* Corporate health insurance discounts
* Awarded Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2019, 2021 and 2024
* Inclusive Employer 2024 / 2025 recognised by Diversity Council Australia
