About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Western Sydney. This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis and plays an important part in keeping the Accounts Receivable function running smoothly and supporting the broader finance team.
Working within a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of your own ledger, managing collections, allocations, and customer relationships while contributing to ongoing process improvements during a period of transformation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* End to end Accounts Receivable management, including invoicing, collections, and cash allocation.
* Managing your own customer ledger and maintaining accurate account records.
* Monitoring outstanding accounts, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining collection targets.
* Performing bank reconciliations and allocating payments in line with remittance advice.
* Investigating and resolving customer queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining credit records, including reviewing credit limits.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role
* Intermediate Excel Skills
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
