Join Our Team as a Special Anaesthetist: Provide Expert Care and Contribute to Quality Healthcare in the Riverland Community
Are you an experienced Special Anaesthetist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care? We are seeking a skilled and committed individual to join our team and deliver exceptional anaesthetic services to both surgical and obstetric patients in the Riverland community and the broader Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). About the Role
As a Special Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care to surgical and obstetric patients, ensuring the safe and effective management of anaesthesia throughout the surgical process. You will also play an active role in the management of high-dependency patients and emergency situations when on duty.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing expert anaesthetic care to surgical and obstetric patients, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Actively engaging in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including audit and morbidity and mortality review
* Participating in ongoing continuing education activities to stay up-to-date with the latest practices in anaesthesia

What We're Looking For
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
* A formal credentialing and delineation of scope of clinical practice will be undertaken prior to appointment.
